Oscar, our Operations and Project Manager here at La Dona, is truly a jack-of-all-trades. From web design to project management to online marketing to sales, Oscar has a wide range of experience and skills that make him an indispensable part of our operations.
Originally hailing from Colombia, Oscar grew up on the road, spending time in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. His multicultural upbringing makes him an ideal point man for international teams, and he often coordinates projects with intercontinental members. Mobile, adaptable, and versatile, Oscar could be just about anywhere – coordinating with local growers in Panama, attending business conferences in Europe, or just relaxing with his family in Medellin.
An inventive, creative person by nature, Oscar brings a unique combination of experience and imagination to the team. He is constantly envisioning new ways of doing business, building relationships, and communicating products. As our Head of Brand, he has spearheaded La Dona’s efforts to shape an engaging, dynamic line of high-quality tropic fruits.
Since the beginning of the partnership between the Vergara family and Farmfolio, Oscar has recognized the tremendous potential that stems from the Panama’s lush farmland and the intrepid, hard-working people who populate it. He now works tirelessly to ensure that this potential is fully realized.
